Located on Jebel Shams, the country’s highest mountain also referred to as Oman’s Grand Canyon, the Balcony Walk is a well-marked trail that runs the rim of the canyon.
This four-hour hike features some of the best views in Oman. It also passes by abandoned villages and hidden waterfalls, offering spectacular photo opportunities. The hike is moderate but can be done in trainers, as there’s no real climbing required.
