Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve is a unique natural landscape of unspoiled shorelines, golden deserts, green oases and rugged mountains. It also happens to be a crucial nesting site to four species of turtle: the endangered Green Turtle, the Olive Ridley Turtle, the Loggerhead Turtle, and the critically endangered Hawksbill Turtle.
One of the most popular eco-tourism activities in Oman, it allows visitors to witness turtle nesting without disturbing them. The reserve features an interactive museum, research labs, and amenities where visitors can learn all about the these ancient creatures.
