Located in the mountain foothills, Misfat Al Abriyeen is a village that features incredible agricultural terraces, beautiful alleys, and old mud houses with palm frond roofs built on solid rock foundations.
The village is sometimes called ‘mountain oasis’ due to its beautiful local gardens which are watered through an intricate falaj system carved through the mountain. Many villagers of Misfat Al Abriyeen rely on the agricultural terraces for their livelihood, producing bananas, pomegranates, papayas, mangoes, citrus, and dates.
